Feature Release: July 14, 2014 Product Updates

14th July 2014

As part of our ongoing commitment to deliver the best product for our customers, we recently made some updates to improve the Livelenz platform for Non-Subway users (Subway users, stay tuned for updates in coming weeks). While there were many improvements and bug fixes released in July (we’re the first to admit we aren’t perfect – yet!), here are the ones that will impact users like you the most:

Security Enhancements

Password Resets:

We all forget our passwords from time to time, it is understandable. In order to make the process of accessing your account once this happens simpler and more secure, we have changed how this process works. Now, if you can’t remember your password and use the “Forgot Password” feature on the login page, you will be asked to enter your Username or Email address. Then you will be prompted to check your email. The email you receive will include a link and by clicking that link you will be able to reset what your password in a more secure manner.

Changes in How You Log Into Your Account:

We’ve received feedback from our customers that with all the various personal and business accounts they have online, Usernames can be difficult to remember. To make things simpler, we’re changing things so an email address (which almost everyone can remember) can be used to log into Livelenz. The next time you log in (if this hasn’t taken place already), you will be prompted to confirm the email address that you want to use for your account moving forward. Once you make this update, you will use your email to log into your account.
NOTE: Please remember to pass this information along to other users in your restaurant.

This change not only allows for easier logging in – but also means that your organization’s account administrators can more easily add users and assign specific permissions to those users.

New “Current Data View” in LiveAnalytics:

We have enhanced how your sales and average check are reported on the dashboard, you can now switch between the last 7 days and how you are performing live for the current day and how your stores are comparing against one another. This allows you to quickly see if certain stores are having a particularly good or bad day in comparison to your other stores.

Improvements in load time of the LiveAnalytics Dashboard

One of the focuses of our upcoming feature enhancements will be increasing the speed which the dashboard loads on your devices. As part of that, users who have LiveHR enabled will notice a significant improvement in the load speed of their LiveAnalytics dashboard.
